Kingdom Island 2.0

For months now, the Kingdom Island staff have been working long and hard to create a better way for players to experience the game. They're making new clothes, new colors, new rooms, fixing bugs, and plenty more behind the scenes stuff. Recently on their Twitter, they announced a BIG announcement was coming. Well it is here!

On the Kingdom Island Blog, they explained when the big updates are coming! Not only that, but they left a couple sneak peaks for us! Here is what Tony had to say on the blog.

Hello Dragons,

 Finally, we're ready to release Kingdom Island's HTML5 2.0 version update! We have a few days of testing and will have it live for all to play on Saturday, February 2nd, 2013!

 This update is big... well worth the month wait. There are so many new features, we're so excited to share them all with you- so be sure to be online February the 2nd to experience the 2.0 update! There are a few spoilers in blog posts back and in the image above. What do you see?

 We also want to remind everyone to submit their entries to our item design contest which ends on February 10th. Forum accounts are free to create and a great way to connect with other Kingdom Island players! Staff reads every idea. In fact, a few of the ideas posted on the forums made it into the 2.0 update. Pretty cool! Be sure to join the forums and tell your friends via Facebook and Twitter about the 2.0 update!

Yay! The Updates are coming! And not only that, but look, a new color! It seems that one of the new colors we voted for on the forums, black, will be in the game! ^.^  But wait... what's that dot in the "2.0" chat bubble? Well, it's silver! You know how you have to buy gold for items in the game at the moment? Well say hello to an in-game currency called silver! ^.^ This will be the currency most frequently used within the game most likely.

Viper and I are so excited for the updates, and we definitely can't wait to see them! Everyone Make sure to log on February 2nd, and be the first to witness all the cool updates!

BIG Announcement Coming Soon?!

A lot of work is being put into Kingdom Island. Each and every day the staff slave away as they work to create one of the most unique virtual worlds anyone has ever seen. A lot of talk about big updates has been thrown around by the staff. Everyone, including us, are excited for these updates!

New Kingdom Island Updates & Sneak Peeks!

Updates are SO close! From clothing, to bug fixes, and even NEW ROOMS, the staff have been working very hard to release them. Well, today Kingdom Island posted on the Official Blog some sneak peeks! Check it out!

In this picture, we notice many of the following updates:

• NEW Clothing! Pilot Gear!
• NEW Emotes! 
• NEW Rooms! Looks like a ball room or a dining area!

In addition to this, here's what Qazar had to say in the post:

Hello Dragons, 

We have been working really hard to bring you the best game experience through multiple device gameplay and are nearly complete with the next update. That's right, update 2.0 will bring our iOS game and our online game together, making it the first virtual world to reach multiple platforms and the first virtual world to utilize the new HTML5 technology. 

Along with that exciting news, we have some new features that we are going to be adding to to the 2.0 update. As you may have seen from our spoiler on the main page, we have new items coming out! 

Above is a sneak peek at some of the new updates coming to the game. What can you see? We're super excited to share these new features with everyone, stay tuned for the release date! Oh, did we mention there's going to be free items for all members? 

This is EPIC! The app AND the game will be merged, making a ton more players online! And also, FREE items for members?! Woohoo! I absolutely can not wait until these updates are out! What are you looking forward to most? I'd definitely say clothes!

Kingdom Island Clothing Sneak Peek!

Kingdom Island has been working on brand new updates for a while at the moment. One of these updates being clothing. Well, today, they have updated their homepage with a sneak peek of some clothing that is coming! You can see this clothing at the bottom of the Kingdom Island Homepage in the "Purchase Gold" section.

In this picture, we can see the following clothing items:

• Aviator Helmet/Goggles
• Red Scarf
• Aviator Vest
• Jeans 
• A Bug (Pet?)

I'm guessing that these will be special Gold-Only items. I better stock up on some gold!

This is SO awesome! I absolutely can not wait for clothing! So far, they look really good! What do you guys think? What are you hoping to see? Comment and let us know!

Kingdom Island Game Moderators

The Kingdom Island Staff are very fun to be around, but they are very busy most of the time designing rooms, clothes, fixing bugs, and more. So busy in fact, they may not have time to moderate the game. Well, you all know Jake and Mark, right? They are the game's Moderator's.

Well, on Kingdom Island's Staff Page, they have updated it with a "Game Moderators" section. Check it out.

I'm glad they updated the Staff page so people know who Mark and Jake are haha! Something that peaks my interest though... Will Moderators have those clothing items? I think it'd be cool because it'd identify them easier for newer members! What do you guys think?

Kingdom Island Invisible Glitch!

Today, my friend Pacman logged on, but there was something strange about him. He was missing his dragon! Nothing seemed to show but his username! Strange, isn't it? Now, I do not know how this happened, but when I do, I'll be sure to let you guys know!

 Here is how it looked.

This is awesome! Not only that, but when I clicked his dragon, his dragon was also invisible on his Dragon I.D! Check it out!

This is awesome! Hopefully this bug is fixed soon! If this does happen to you, just change your color and it will be fixed! (thanks to Pacman for letting me know!)

New iOS/Desktop Wallpapers Soon!

Recently, KingdomIsland has tweeted on their Official Twitter Account that they will be making Wallpapers for iOS devices, and desktops! Now every player can have their favorite dragon characters as their backgrounds!

How To Get Silver on Kingdom Island

Silver is the main currency in Kingdom Island. With Silver, you can purchase stylish new clothing! Unlike Gold, you do not have to purchase it with real money, it's in the game! ^.^

Getting Silver is pretty simple. Silver is hidden around the Island for dragons to find. Silver can be outside and even inside buildings! They are pretty tiny, so keep your eyes peeled! Here is what it looks like in the game.

To see how much Silver you have collected, open your Dragon I.D Card, and look to the bottom left next to your Gold amount.

Now, finding Silver may be hard for some people, but don't be scared to try! To get you all started, here is a list of just about every room you can find Silver in.

After a decent amount for collecting, you will have a ton of silver in no time! Hope this guide helps!

Kingdom Island NPC Sneak Peek!

For a long time now, the Kingdom Island Staff have been working hard for some new updates to the game! An item that has been requested constantly would me NPC's! NPC's are Non-playing Characters such as Lola, Elmer, and Spinno. Well, on the forums, Qazar posted two sneak peaks of Elmer's new NPC and the first ever Bigly NPC!

Kingdom Island "Design an Item" Contest

A lot of dragons have been asking for more clothes lately! Well, now is your chance to get your very own item made into the game! On the Kingdom Island Forums, the Kingdom Island Staff are hosting a contest! Users can submit their clothing designs and have them voted on when the deadline comes. Contestants can use the layout below for their drawings, or they may make another one! (You're aloud to print this out and draw on it).

Here are the rules as listed below:

• 1) You may submit 3 item designs
• 2) Designs must fit within the black boundaries
• 3) An item is considered one piece of clothing or object (example: a hat, a shirt, and shoes is considered 3 items)
• 4) No company logos other than our own can be used
• 5) No team colors or insignia 

Not only does the winner get their item in the game, but they also get their very own Kingdom Island Keychain!

Kingdom Island Apps

Kingdom Island actually started out as an online virtual world game iTunes app. The great thing about Kingdom Island is that there is no memberships and instead they have a currency called Gold, which is used to buy items on the game like clothing. Since there is no membership, you can wear & use all the items you bought with gold forever! They have two version of the game app where there is a free one and the other one is a paid one.


The free Kingdom Island app and paid version, Kingdom Island HD, are pretty much the same. It just in the free version, there are exclusive HD only clothes, and you get game updates slower than the paid version.

I recommend this app to everyone! And like Tony have said 'A for sure need to get for any true Kingdom Island fan!', so go get the app if you can, definitely worth it! ^.^

How to Buy Clothes on Kingdom Island

Clothes are a new feature that has been introduced to Kingdom Island. With these clothes, you can show your true colors with your best outfits. Like in most games, clothes don't come free. But to get these clothes is very easy.

First of all, open your Dragon's Player I.D. You will see a button that says "Change Your Outfit!" Below it, you can change your dragon's color or see how much gold and silver you have.

You will now have the option to choose between different items of clothing. These items are 50 gold each, or 25 Silver. (Click Here to Learn how to Get Gold, or to Get Silver!)

Congratulations! You now have clothing! Here is my dragon modeling his new clothing! ^.^

Kingdom Island Obstacle Dash Cheats 2013

Kingdom Island has been pushing out some pretty cool updates, one of these being a new game! This game is called Obstacle Dash. The point of the game is to maneuver around different obstacles on your quest to saved the trapped Bugz! Be careful though, you only get 3 lives, and there are 27 levels.

To get to Obstacle Dash, go to the homepage and click the ad for it, or just CLICK HERE. You will then be taken to the home screen of the game. Click "New Game".

Now, you must control your dragon and guide him around the obstacles to rescue the Bugz. Use the arrow keys to do so. If this does not work for you, you may also use the W,S,A,D keys.

During your journey, you will notice these stars in your path. Collect theme! ^.^ The more you collect, the better! For each level, there is a set number for how many stars are on that level. You can see this at the top navbar.

When the level is finished, you will notice a sign with a Green Check-Mark on it. Run up to it to complete the level! This message will pop up when you finish.

Later in the game there will be roadblocks and powerups in the game. They will either help you, or they will hurt you. Here are just some of them so you can be aware. 

My farthest level is Level 17! How far can you go?

How To Buy Gold on Kingdom Island

Gold is the second currency in Kingdom Island. At the moment, you may purchase some awesome new clothing with gold. By purchase, I mean with real money. Don't worry though, it is not that much. You need a minimum of $2 for gold ^.^ With this gold, you can buy a couple articles of clothing, but you'll need more to buy all.

To purchase gold, click on your dragon's Player I.D. After this, click "Purchase Gold", or just CLICK HERE.

You will then be taken to a page on KingdomIsland where you can Purchase gold for your dragon! ^.^ Here you have 3 options of gold to buy:

• 100 Gold - $2.00
• 300 Gold - $5.00
• 800 Gold - $10.00

Now, click Purchase and you will have to log into your account.

After that, you just pay on Paypal, and you're done! ^.^ Congratulations! Also, with Gold, you can unlock special clothing for your dragon, and even cool new rooms like the Ballroom!
